Wellfield is a beautiful 16th century farmhouse situated in eight acres of sloping countryside facing south across the Clun valley.
The house sits on the edge of Newcastle on Clun, Shropshire, a small village a stones throw away from popular walkers route ‘Offa’s Dyke’.
On approaching the house, there is a lawn to the right, great for badminton and croquet. Inside the house one can explore the multitude of quirky, formal and welcoming rooms, along with a large kitchen/breakfast room boasting a four door Aga. Adjacent to the beautiful kitchen guests will find the TV snug room, overlooking one of the properties most exciting features - the outdoor heated pool*. This area catches the afternoon and early evening sun, and is perfect for summer BBQ’s and outdoor dining. After an energising dip, or an invigorating country walk, guests can unwind in the sauna or jacuzzi bath, before enjoying a glass of wine snuggled up in front of one of the house’s open fires. This spacious house accommodates 15 people comfortably.
